Data safety & privacy
Sample answers to the questions renters ask most often. Review at your own pace, then return to continue your application.
Who can see the information in my rental application?
Only the people you explicitly share it with. You choose, per recipient, which fields and documents are revealed — everything else stays hidden.
Is my identity and financial data encrypted?
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Sensitive fields such as government IDs and bank connections are stored with additional access controls.
Do you sell my data or share it with advertisers?
No. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. Your application is only used to help you rent a home.
How do Identity and Income Verification work?
We use trusted Verification partners (for example, document/selfie checks and read-only bank connections) to confirm facts about you. Landlords receive verified facts, not raw copies of your source documents.
Do landlords receive my full credit report?
No. Landlords see the verified outcomes you agreed to share — never the raw report. You control what is revealed.
How long do you keep my data?
You can update or delete information from your profile at any time. If you delete your account, associated personal data is removed on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy.
What happens if I revoke access to a landlord?
Shared links can be revoked from your account. Once revoked, the recipient can no longer view your profile through that link.
Where can I read the full Privacy Policy?
The full policy is public at /privacy-policy — no account needed. It explains data collection, service providers, retention, and your rights in detail. It also appears in your account under Data Privacy and Account Deletion.
